SIMATIC ET 200SP, Base Unit BU15-P16+A10+2D, BU type A0, Push-in terminals, with 10 AUX terminals, new load group, WxH: 15mmx141mm SIMATIC ET 200SP is a modular, scalable and highly flexible distributed I/O system. Thanks to its small footprint, it is particularly suitable for installation in small machine-side control cabinets. The modules can either be plugged directly into an ET 200SP CPU or connected to a central controller via PROFINET or PROFIBUS. SIMATIC ET 200SP can be expanded with up to 64 peripheral modules, which can be plugged in in any combination. The system offers a very comprehensive range of modules. Many modules are also available in different versions, which significantly improves scalability in terms of functionality and price. In addition to modules with standard functionality (ST), there are also those with extended functionality and diagnostics (HF High Feature / HS High Speed). For price-sensitive applications, modules with basic functionality (BA) are available. The advantage of the ET 200SP system lies in its ease of use, for example, through the free choice of PROFINET connection technology via the bus adapter, tool-free wiring using push-in technology, improved accessibility of the wiring due to the new arrangement of the spring openers next to the corresponding conductor opening, and channel-specific diagnostic functions. By enabling module and terminal box changes during operation, known as hot-swapping, machine availability and productivity are ensured. The scalable and cost-optimized configuration of an ET 200SP station is ensured by the comprehensive range of signal modules. In addition to digital and analog input and output modules, fail-safe versions for applications up to SIL 3 / PLe are also available. This also applies to the integrated motor starters, which are suitable for motors up to 5.5 kW. Energy meters for measuring and analyzing energy consumption, IO-Link Masters (V1.1.), and many other communication and technology modules enable the system to adapt to any automation task.
