The K2 S-Dome 6.10 mounting kits array modules on flat roofs facing south with a 10° tilt. The system's core consists of pre-assembled Base Sets with Peak and Windbreaker – resulting in a very flat, aerodynamic design with a small wind attack surface, less shading, and a smaller row spacing compared to steeper arrays. Available for 2 to 6 modules. Ballast is not included in the set.
All modules face south and are set up flat on the roof at 10°. The Windbreaker deflects the airflow and reduces uplift forces, while the Peak forms the back. The shallow angle means less self-shading and a smaller row spacing – more modules on the same roof area.
What's included
Pre-assembled Base Sets with protective mats, Peak and Windbreaker, module clamps, connecting elements, and potential equalization TerraGrif. Ballast (paving slabs or gravel) must be determined on a project-specific basis and is not included in the set.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is ballast included in the set?
No. The required ballasting depends on the location, building height, and roof structure and must be provided by the customer.
10° or 15° tilt?
10° builds flatter, requires less row spacing, and allows more modules per area. 15° yields more output per module but requires larger spacing.
Which modules are the kits designed for?
Standard framed modules with a frame height of 30–42 mm.
Does the roof need to be statically checked?
Yes. The design is based on wind load zone 2 and floor height 3. Roof waterproofing and permissible load must be checked on a project-specific basis.
