The K2 D-Dome 6.15 mounting kits elevate modules on flat roofs in an east-west orientation with a 15° tilt. The modules are arranged in back-to-back double rows; the steeper angle yields more per module compared to 10° and provides a better self-cleaning effect, while still ensuring very good space utilization. The kits are based on pre-assembled base sets with peaks and windbreakers. Available for 4 to 12 modules. Ballast is not included in the set.
Two module rows each are arranged back-to-back and face east and west. The 15° tilt angle increases the yield per module compared to the 10° version and allows rain and snow to drain better. The result is a uniform daily profile with peaks in the morning and evening.
What's included
Pre-assembled base sets with roof protection mats, peak and windbreaker, module clamps, connection elements, and potential equalization TerraGrif. Ballast (paving slabs or gravel) must be determined on a project-specific basis and is not included in the set.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why only even numbers of modules?
The modules are elevated in pairs, back-to-back. That's why the sets are available for 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 modules.
Is ballast included in the set?
No. The required ballasting depends on the location, building height, and roof structure, and must be provided by the customer.
Which modules are the sets designed for?
Standard framed modules with 30–42 mm frame height.
Does the roof need to be statically checked?
Yes. The design is based on wind load zone 2 and floor height 3. Roof waterproofing and permissible load must be checked on a project-specific basis.
