The K2 mounting kits for pitched tiled roofs are pre-assembled complete sets for tiled roofs – available in two versions: portrait (modules upright) and landscape (modules horizontal). The roof connection is made via the SingleHook 3S roof hook, on which the SingleRail 36 rails are mounted. Available for 2 to 12 modules – including black module clamps, EndCaps, and potential equalization.

The two versions

Portrait: Modules upright on vertically running rails – the most common variant, available for 2 to 12 modules. Landscape: Modules horizontally, with the rails running perpendicular to the roof pitch – useful for wide, low roof areas, available for 3 to 6 modules. Both versions use the same roof connection.

Which roof hook is included?

The K2 SingleHook 3S – triple adjustable, for tile and pan roofs. It is screwed under the tile to rafters or counter-battens.

Portrait or landscape?

Portrait is standard and covers 2 to 12 modules. Landscape is worthwhile for wide, low roof areas. For uneven roofs, cross-bond sets are available separately.

Which modules are the sets designed for?

Standard framed modules with a frame height of 30–42 mm. Not for large format modules without prior inspection.

Does the roof need to be statically checked?

Yes. The design is based on wind load zone 2 and storey height 3. Each roof must be checked on an object-specific basis; if there are deviations, additional components are required.
