The Homematic IP DIN rail dimmer actuator dims and switches up to three lights directly from the distribution cabinet - and is ideal for retrofitting thanks to wireless communication. The smart control of conventional lighting enables, for example, automation via time profiles or dimming up the "wake-up light" in the morning depending on the sunrise. In addition to three outputs, the dimmer actuator also has three inputs for conventional 230 V switches or push-buttons. Existing switches or push-buttons can therefore continue to be used without any problems. The dimmer actuator can also be flexibly controlled via Homematic IP push-buttons and remote controls and by voice command (via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant). The trailing-edge dimmer is ideal for incandescent lamps, dimmable LEDs and energy-saving lamps as well as for HV halogen lamps and LV halogen lamps with electronic transformers. Lamps with an internal ballast (LED/compact fluorescent lamp) can be connected up to 100 W and all other listed loads up to 200 W per channel. Thanks to stable spring-cage terminals, the connection is particularly easy. Even without prior programming, the function and wiring can be checked directly on the device during installation using the illuminated display and the device buttons. Setup can be done either via the free smartphone app with a free cloud service via the Homematic IP Access Point or with the locally operated CCU3 central unit.
