Level switch for cellar drainageThe level switch is used wherever fill levels of conductive, non-flammable media in tanks or shafts need to be maintained very precisely, or these liquids need to be pumped out to a very low level. Max. permissible liquid temperature: 55°. The fill level of conductive, non-flammable liquids in tanks/shafts is monitored by means of 4 rod probes on an electrode holder.A Wilo TMR pump or any other Wilo pump with a Schuko plug is controlled via the plug-in control unit (earthed plug and earthed socket in one housing). This empties a shaft/tank. The pump is connected to the plug housing with an earthed plug.How it works:The four electrode rods extend to different depths into the conductive liquid. The longest electrode acts as the ground electrode (Mass), the next (decreasing in length) electrode is the switch-off electrode (Aus), then comes the switch-on electrode (Ein), the shortest electrode is the alarm electrode (Alarm).If the liquid level drops to the switch-on electrode, the control unit switches on the pump. If the liquid level exceeds the switch-off electrode, the control unit switches off the pump again.If the alarm electrode is reached by the liquid, a potential-free contact closes in the control unit and the built-in buzzer sounds. The potential-free contact is intended for special applications and can be used for an external alarm.The pump can be operated directly with the button on the plug-in control unit (test function).
