What does the N-Type cell technology of this module mean?

The Aiko Stellar 3N+72 uses monocrystalline N-Type cells in ABC design (All Back Contact). All electrical contacts are on the rear side, so no metal fingers shade the active front side. This increases the efficiency to 24.6 % and improves low-light and temperature behavior compared to classic P-Type modules.

What are the characteristics of the glass-glass and bifacial construction?

Instead of a plastic backsheet, the module has two 2.0 mm thick glass panes. This makes it dimensionally stable, resistant to aging, and less susceptible to micro-cracks. Since the cells operate bifacially, they also convert reflected light from the back into electricity - especially on bright flat or open spaces, this brings a noticeable additional yield.

How much electricity does the module generate per year in Austria?

With typical south orientation, a 665 Wp module in Austria delivers about 600 to 730 kWh per year. At an electricity price of 25 ct/kWh, this corresponds to approximately 150 to 180 euros in annual savings per module - the bifacial rear-side yield can additionally increase this value depending on the subsurface.
