How the emergency power transfer works
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Normal operation | Power flows from the grid via the box to the consumers, PV feeds in normally |
| 2. Grid failure | Inverter disconnects grid feed-in and activates its EPS output |
| 3. Detection | EPS box detects voltage on EPS-IN (voltage detection) |
| 4. Switching | Contactors pull in, grid is disconnected, EPS output is switched to consumers |
| 5. Grid return | Box automatically switches back to grid operation, EPS is deactivated |
