What does TNC 2.0 mean and why is this technology better?
TNC stands for Tongwei N-type Cell – Tongwei's in-house TOPCon cell platform. An ultra-thin tunnel oxide layer is applied to an n-type silicon wafer, which significantly reduces recombination losses. Compared to classic PERC, this means: higher efficiency, practically no light-induced power loss, better low-light performance, and a more favorable temperature coefficient of −0.28 %/°C.
What is the difference between glass-glass and glass-film?
In this module, both the front and back are made of 2.0 mm semi-tempered glass. Glass does not age like a plastic backsheet, does not outgas, and does not absorb moisture. The result: higher mechanical stiffness, better anti-PID properties, and slower degradation over the entire lifespan.
