With back-contacted cells, all current conductors are located on the module's rear side. There are no shading contact fingers on the front, allowing more active cell area to absorb light and the module to achieve a higher efficiency of 24.0%. The 108 monocrystalline half-cut cells also reduce internal resistance losses.

Instead of a plastic backsheet, this module has glass on both sides – 2.0 mm at the front and 1.6 mm at the back. The cells are thus protected on both sides from moisture, UV radiation, and mechanical stress. This significantly slows down aging and is the reason for the 30-year product and performance warranty.
