Resideo VC Diverter ValveThe pressure-relieved zone valves with two-point actuator of the VC series are used in residential buildings and in small industrial applications to regulate the flow of hot and/or cold water. They consist of an actuator, a connecting cable, and a valve with a replaceable valve insert.The two-way valves are designed for on/off zone control of systems in residential buildings. The three-way valves are used for switching volume flows in central heating and/or cooling applications in residential buildings and can be installed either as a diverting or mixing valve.Both versions are suitable for individual control of fan coils, radiators, space heaters, or convectors. Due to their special design, they operate quietly and reduce the risk of water hammer in the pipe. The pressure-relieved design of the valve insert allows differential pressures of up to 4 bar. For two-way valves, the flow direction can be freely selected. Three-way valves are suitable for switching the water flow both from direction AB to A or B, and from direction A or B to AB.The functionality of the actuator depends on the selected actuator model. There are variants for 24 V and 230 V with control by a normally open contact (SPST) or a changeover contact (SPDT). The actuators are equipped with an end position switch-off, so that power is only consumed when the position changes. The actuators have a bayonet fitting and can be mounted on or removed from the valve without tools.
