According to DIN EN 806-2 in conjunction with DIN 1988-200, a pressure reducer protects domestic water systems from excessive supply pressure. It can also be used for industrial and commercial purposes, taking into account its specifications. The use of a pressure reducer prevents pressure damage and reduces water consumption. The set pressure is kept constant even with strongly fluctuating inlet pressure.
