- For steel and cast mineral shower trays from 700 x 700 mm to 1000 x 1800 mm
- For acrylic shower trays with a smooth rim underside from 700 x 700 mm to 1000 x 1600 mm
- The Universal mounting frame is designed for shower trays whose rim surface flatness and/or rim bottom edge straightness do not exceed a deviation of 3 mm
- For cast mineral trays, it must be ensured that a load-bearing support point is present every 60 cm. Trays with non-load-bearing ribs are not suitable. The tray must be approved by the manufacturer for mounting with tray feet.
- For test procedures and methods for determining geometric deviations, see DIN EN 249 Annex A. This dimension is usually complied with by steel/cast mineral and some acrylic tray manufacturers, but must be checked by the user.
