- for steel and mineral cast shower trays from 700 x 700 mm to 1200 x 1200 mm
- for acrylic shower trays with a smooth tray rim base from 700 x 700 mm to 1000 x 1000 mm
- the Universal mounting frame is designed for shower trays whose rim surface flatness and/or rim bottom edge straightness does not exceed a deviation of 3 mm
- for mineral cast trays, it must be ensured that a load-bearing support point is present every 60 cm. Trays with non-load-bearing ribs are not suitable. The tray must be approved by the manufacturer for installation with tray feet.
- for acrylic trays with an edge length greater than 1000 mm, the mounting frame SF 120/180 must always be used
- test procedures and methods for determining geometric deviations see DIN EN 249 Annex A. This dimension is usually complied with by steel/mineral cast and some acrylic tray manufacturers, but must be checked independently
