Panasonic Hydro Split Heat Pump Aquarea, single-phase, inverter-controlled, R290

Hydro module
Hydro module for air/water heat pump in HydroSplit design, 230 V and 185 L hot water tank. Operating modes: heating, hot water, cooling (cooling mode can be activated via settings).

Outdoor unit
Outdoor unit for air/water heat pump in split design, 230 V, R290. Housing made of galvanized and stove-enameled sheet steel RAL 7016, for outdoor installation, removable housing cover for easy access to internal components. Base plate with mounting tabs and condensate opening. Axial fan with enlarged fan diameter for constant air flow to reduce fan speed and saw-tooth blades on the fan blades to minimize turbulence. Driven by a continuously variable DC motor and a sound- and flow-optimized plastic impeller. Waterproof top-mounted switch box for safe water drainage, gas/liquid separator. Factory tested for pressure resistance and leak-tightness and pre-filled with environmentally friendly refrigerant. Complies with design regulations according to IEC 60335-2-40: 2022. Heat exchanger made of copper pipes with pressed-on Bluefin-coated aluminum fins. 4-pole synchronous compressor, 4-point vibration dampener device and soundproof compressor material for reducing vibrations and noise. Electronic expansion valve, 4-way reversing valve, filter dryer and shut-off valves with test connection. Long pipe lengths up to 30 m and height differences up to 10 m between indoor and outdoor unit are permissible.

Hydraulic circuit
Stainless steel plate heat exchanger. Circulation pump as Panasonic high-efficiency pump with DC motor, continuously controlled. Flow monitoring. Vortex volume flow meter for dynamic adjustment of the water volume flow depending on the specified temperature spread, integrated dirty water magnetic filter for the water circuit, electric heating rod with thermal overcurrent release. Safety and vent valve, water pressure sensor for measuring system pressure. 10-liter expansion tank. Flow temperatures up to 75 °C possible and achieved even down to -10 °C outside temperature. Even at an outside temperature of -20 °C, a water outlet temperature of 55 °C is achieved. The minimum water outlet temperature in cooling mode is 5 °C. Heating operation possible down to -20 °C, cooling operation possible up to +10 °C outside temperature. Particularly safe due to hydraulic connection to the indoor unit and separation of refrigerant in the outdoor unit and electronics in the indoor unit.

Control
Modulating capacity adjustment of the compressor through (INVERTER+) control technology. Energy efficiency through operation initiation in partial load range and demand-driven frequency increase. Temperature sensors for outdoor temperature, compressor, hot gas and suction line temperature as well as evaporator temperature. Circuit reversal for rapid and efficient defrosting of the outdoor unit heat exchanger. Communication modules for optimal data exchange with the hydro module.
Separate heating and domestic hot water control with a clear control panel. Easy-to-understand symbols and plain text menu displays in 26 different user languages. Continuous display of outdoor and flow temperature. Outdoor temperature-controlled adjustment of the flow temperature in heating mode. Temperature sensors for condenser, flow and return temperature. Display of system pressure, weekly timer for time-dependent on/off switching and operating mode selection. Programmable timer for thermal disinfection. Demand-driven control of the electric auxiliary heating.
Further functions: Automatic mode (heating/cooling), holiday mode, screed drying program, display of power consumption, improved defrost function.
Self-diagnosis system with display of error codes. Communication modules for optimal data exchange with the outdoor unit.
Optional board for additional functions such as Smart Grid control, power control via 0-10 V signal, control of two heating circuits including heating circuit pumps and mixing valves, solar thermal, external switching between heating and cooling. Optional Smart Cloud Adapter.
Setting for prioritization in silent operation possible, so that a certain volume is not exceeded.

External connection options:
