Split-type air-to-water heat pump with impressed current anode
Description
Air-to-water heat pump for heating, domestic hot water preparation and cooling (cooling mode activatable by setting), consisting of an outdoor unit and an indoor unit (combi hydromodule), which is a combination of hydromodule and hot water tank.
Indoor unit
Particularly compact housing made of galvanized and stove-enamelled sheet steel, color: white, with an almost square footprint (500 x 348 mm) and low height (892 mm). Front fully removable for full access to the internal components. Unit installation on the floor, leveling by means of height-adjustable feet. Separate steel sheet control box with its own hinged door for the electrical connections located inside the housing at the front. Control unit accessible without opening the housing.
All sensor readings retrievable via control unit, 2 x CN-CNT connections
MODBUS and Cloud Adapter can be connected,
Energy and heat meters can be connected via MODBUS.
Hydraulic circuit
Stainless steel plate heat exchanger. Circulation pump as Panasonic high-efficiency pump with DC motor, continuously controlled. Flow monitoring. Vortex flow meter for dynamic adjustment of water flow rate depending on the specified temperature spread, integrated dirty water magnetic filter for the water circuit, electric heating element with thermal overcurrent release. Safety and ventilation valve, water pressure sensor for measuring system pressure. 10-liter expansion tank. 3-way valve for switching between hot water mode and heating or cooling mode. The maximum water outlet temperature at the combi hydromodule is 60 °C and is reached even at -10 °C outdoor temperature. The minimum water outlet temperature in cooling mode is 5 °C. Heating mode up to -20 °C, cooling mode up to +10 °C outdoor temperature possible. The maximum water temperature in the domestic hot water tank is 65 °C.
Connections
Connections for refrigerant lines as well as for flow and return (heating/cooling), cold water inlet and hot water outlet of the hot water tank are led out of the unit upwards in a row next to each other.
Control
Modulating power adjustment of the compressor by INVERTER+ control electronics. Temperature sensors for outdoor temperature, compressor, hot gas and suction line temperature as well as evaporator temperature. Higher efficiency, as the compressor starts in partial load operation and the compressor frequency is increased if necessary, circuit reversal for rapid and efficient defrosting of the outdoor unit heat exchanger. Improved defrosting behavior by bypass defrosting. Communication modules for optimal data exchange with the hydromodule. Electronic manometer provides value in electronic form for transmission via WLAN

System
The system is optimized for R32 refrigerant with low global warming potential. Functions include heating mode, cooling mode, screed drying, automatic mode, display of energy consumption and generation. Further functions: Weekly timer, holiday programs, secondary pump control, bivalence control, optionally control via outdoor temperature sensor or room temperature sensor/thermostat, intelligent whisper mode (priority whisper mode "power"), optional board for additional functions such as control and temperature regulation of a buffer tank, control of two heating circuits (including swimming pool heating), input for external shutdown of the outdoor unit, integration of a solar station, external fault messages, inputs for SG-Ready control. Integration into third-party BMS systems via optional interfaces. Optional Smart Cloud adapter for operation and remote maintenance via Panasonic Cloud applications. Simultaneous use of the BMS system and the Smart Cloud adapter. Self-diagnosis system with display of error codes, improved defrost function, during defrost operation the heat pump can switch to hot water mode.
Separate heating or domestic hot water control with a clear control panel (controller) with backlit 3.5-inch display and keypad with touch buttons. Easy-to-understand symbols as well as plain text menu displays in 16 different user languages. Additional quick menu for the user. Continuous display of outdoor and flow temperature. Outdoor temperature-controlled adjustment of the flow temperature in heating mode. Temperature sensors for condenser, flow and return temperature. Weekly timer for time-dependent on/off switching and operating mode specification. Programmable timer for thermal disinfection. Demand-dependent control of the electrical auxiliary heating.
