Which systems is the box suitable for?
It is suitable for PV generators with 2 strings on one MPP tracker with a maximum system voltage of 1000 V DC and up to 20 A short-circuit current per tracker (max. 10 A per string). This allows DC-side surge protection to be retrofitted between the module field and the inverter or planned from the outset.
What is the integrated load disconnect switch for?
The integrated 40 A DC load disconnect switch allows safe, load-free disconnection of PV strings – for example, for maintenance or in the event of service. A separate DC disconnector is therefore no longer required.
Are string fuses included?
No. The box contains Type 1 + 2 surge protection, the load disconnect switch, and integrated string monitoring is not provided. String fuses are not included in the scope of delivery and must be provided separately if required.
