Universal dimming switch. Power MOSFET up to 400W. Automatic lamp detection. Standby loss only 0.2 Watt. Minimum brightness or dimming speed adjustable. With nursery and snooze function. For flush mounting. 45mm long, 45mm wide, 18mm deep. Universal dimming switch for lamps up to 400W, depending on ventilation conditions. Dimmable 230V LED lamps and dimmable ESL energy-saving lamps also depend on the lamp electronics and the dimming type. Soft-on and soft-off switching for lamp protection. Universal control voltage 8-230V UC, galvanically isolated from the supply and switching voltage 230V ~ 50/60Hz. No minimum load required. Short control commands switch on/off, permanent control changes the brightness up to the maximum value. Interrupting the control changes the dimming direction. The set brightness level remains stored when switched off (memory). In the event of a power failure, the switch position and brightness level are saved and, if applicable, switched on again when the supply voltage returns. Automatic electronic overload protection and overtemperature shutdown. The upper %lamp/dim-speed rotary switch can be used to set either the dimming speed or the minimum brightness (fully dimmed). The duration of soft-on and soft-off is also changed with the dimming speed. The lower rotary switch determines during operation whether automatic lamp detection 'AUTO' should be active, or one of the special comfort settings LC1 or LC2. If the MEM+ setting range is selected, the memory function is active and the last set brightness level is saved when switched off. If the MEM- setting range is selected, the memory function is switched off and it is always switched on at maximum brightness. Dimmable energy-saving lamps must be operated on AUTO and MEM-. AUTO allows dimming of all lamp types. LC1 is a comfort setting for dimmable 230V LED lamps, which cannot be dimmed down far enough on AUTO (trailing edge) due to their design and therefore have to be forced to leading edge. LC2 like LC1, but with a different dimming curve. In settings LC1 and LC2, no inductive (wound) transformers may be used. In addition, the maximum number of dimmable LED lamps may be lower due to their design than in the AUTO setting. With nursery circuit: When switching on with a longer button press, after approx. 1 second, it switches on at the lowest brightness and, as long as the button is pressed, slowly dims up, without changing the last stored brightness level. With snooze function: A double impulse dims the lighting from the current dimming setting to the minimum brightness and switches it off. The max. dimming time of 60 minutes depends on the current dimming setting and the set minimum brightness and can therefore be shortened accordingly. By briefly pressing a button, it can be switched off at any time during the dimming process. A long press during the dimming process dims up and ends the snooze function. L-loads (inductive loads, e.g. wound transformers) and C-loads (capacitive loads, e.g. electronic transformers and LED lamps) must not be mixed. R-loads (resistive loads, e.g. 230V incandescent and halogen lamps) can be mixed in as desired.
