For flush mounting. 45mm long, 45mm wide, 18mm deep. Universal dimmer switch for lamps up to 400W, depending on ventilation conditions. Dimmable 230V LED lamps and ESL energy-saving lamps are additionally dimmable depending on the lamp electronics and the dimming type. Circuit with soft on and soft off for lamp protection. Control voltage, supply voltage and switching voltage 230V ~ 50/60Hz. No minimum load required. Short control commands switch on/off, continuous control changes the brightness to the maximum value. An interruption of the control changes the dimming direction. The set brightness level is saved when switched off (memory). In the event of a power failure, the switch position and brightness level are saved and, if necessary, switched on when the supply voltage returns. Automatic electronic overload protection and overtemperature shutdown. The upper %lamp/dim-speed rotary switch can be used to set either the dimming speed or the minimum brightness (fully dimmed). The duration of soft on and soft off is also changed with the dimming speed. The lower rotary switch determines whether the automatic lamp detection AUTO should be active, or one of the special comfort settings LC1 or LC2. If the setting range MEM+ is selected, the memory function is active and the last set brightness level is saved when switched off. If the setting range MEM- is selected, the memory function is switched off and it is always switched on at maximum brightness. Dimmable energy-saving lamps must be operated on AUTO and MEM-. AUTO allows dimming of all lamp types. LC1 is a comfort setting for dimmable 230V LED lamps, which cannot be dimmed sufficiently in AUTO (trailing edge) due to their design and therefore must be forced to leading edge. LC2 like LC1, but with a different dimming curve. In settings LC1 and LC2, no inductive (wound) transformers may be used. In addition, the maximum number of dimmable LED lamps may be lower than in the AUTO setting due to their design. With children's room circuit: When switched on with a longer button press, it switches on at the lowest brightness after approx. 1 second and, as long as the button is pressed, slowly dims up without changing the last saved brightness level. With snooze circuit: By means of a double pulse, the lighting is dimmed from the current dimming position to the minimum brightness and switched off. The max. dimming time of 60 minutes depends on the current dimming position and the set minimum brightness and can therefore be shortened accordingly. By briefly pressing the button, it can be switched off at any time during the dimming process. A long press during the dimming process dims up and ends the snooze circuit. L-loads (inductive loads, e.g. wound transformers) and C-loads (capacitive loads, e.g. electronic transformers and LED lamps) must not be mixed. R-loads (resistive loads, e.g. 230V incandescent and halogen lamps) can be mixed in as desired.
