No continuous power supply required, therefore no standby loss. Due to the use of a bistable relay, there is no coil power loss or heating even when switched on. After installation, wait for the automatic brief synchronization before connecting the switched load to the mains. The ES/ER rotary switch pre-selects the functions of the second rotary switch. The ER selects the bracketed functions. There are 10 functions to choose from: 2S = impulse switch with 2 N.O. contacts. (2R) = switching relay with 2 N.O. contacts. WS = impulse switch with 1 N.O. contact and 1 N.C. contact. (WR) = switching relay with 1 N.O. contact and 1 N.C. contact. SS1 = series switch 1 + 1 N.O. contact with switching sequence 0 - contact 1(1-2) - contact 2(3-4) - contacts 1 + 2. (RR) = switching relay (normally closed relay) with 2 N.C. contacts. SS2 = series switch 1 + 1 N.O. contact with switching sequence 0 - contact 1 - contacts 1 + 2 - contact 2. (EW) = pulse-on relay with 1 N.O. contact and 1 N.C. contact, pulse time 1s. GS = group switch 1 + 1 N.O. contact with switching sequence 0 - contact 1 - 0 - contact 2. (GR) = group relay 1 + 1 N.O. contact (relay with alternately closing contact). This relay is not suitable for feedback with the switching voltage of a dimmer switch. Only use relays ESR12DDX-UC, ESR12NP-230V+UC or ESR61NP-230V+UC for this purpose. The electronics have no separate power supply and therefore no power consumption in either contact position. Only during the short control pulse of only 0.2 seconds does the control current flow, which activates the microcontroller. It reads the last switching state from its non-volatile memory, switches the bistable relay accordingly in the opposite direction and writes the new switching state back to memory.
