Motor isolation relay, 2 + 2 N.O. contacts, non-isolated 5A/250V AC, for one or two 230V motors. Stand-by loss only 0.5 watt. Modular device for mounting on DIN-EN 60715 TH35 rail. 1 module = 18mm wide, 58mm deep. Universal control voltage 8..230V UC. Supply voltage 230V. The tubular motors of shading elements and roller shutters must under no circumstances be connected in parallel, as this would otherwise lead to back voltages via the limit switches and ultimately to the destruction of the motors. For one motor, and if control voltage and motor voltage are 230V, an EGS12Z-UC is sufficient. However, if more than one motor is to be controlled with an EGS12Z-UC, or if the control voltage is not equal, an MTR12-UC must be connected for every two motors. The MTR12-UCs can be operated in parallel, but require free contact outputs K2/K3 of the controlling EGS12Z-UC. These are connected to the K2/K3 terminals of the MTR12-UC. 1/2 = Motor 1, 3/4 = Motor 2. A rotary switch can be used to block the Up or Down functions and can be switched off completely. This block only applies to a maximum of 2 connected motors. This allows individual shading elements or roller shutters to be completely or partially excluded from the automatic function of a central control system.
