ELTAKO Wireless Antenna Module – 30014000 is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Wireless antenna module for the ELTAKO RS485 bus with replaceable antenna. Includes FSNT14-12V/12W switched-mode power supply unit. Bidirectional. Encrypted wireless. Standby loss of only 0.8 watts. If required, a FA250 or FA200 wireless antenna can be connected. Series installation device for mounting on DIN-EN 60715 TH35 mounting rail. 1 module unit = 18mm wide, 58mm deep. Supply voltage 12V DC. Connection to the ELTAKO RS485 bus. Cross-wiring bus and power supply with jumpers. The scope of delivery includes 1 FSNT14-12V/12W switched-mode power supply unit, 1 DS14 spacer, 2 snap-on terminating resistors with "Ω" imprint, 1/2 TE, 3 1 TE jumpers (1 of which is a spare), 1 1.5 TE jumper, 2 1/2 TE jumpers (1 of which is a spare), and an SMW14 jumper mounting tool. If the switched-mode power supply unit is loaded with more than 4W, a ½ module unit ventilation clearance to adjacent devices must be maintained on the left side. If the load is greater than 6W, an additional ½ module unit ventilation clearance between the FSNT14 and the FAM14 is required using the DS14 spacer. A DS14 spacer and a long jumper are therefore included. If the total power requirement of a Series14 bus system is higher than 10W, an additional FSNT14-12V/12W must be used for every 12W of additional power requirement. Optionally, 12V DC can also be fed in at the GND/+12V terminals. The FAM14 wireless antenna module receives and checks all signals from wireless transmitters and repeaters in its reception range. These are transmitted via an RS485 interface to downstream RS485 bus switching actuators: Up to 126 channels can be connected to the RS485 bus. Cross-wiring bus and power supply with jumper. The enclosed second terminating resistor must be plugged onto the last actuator. Up to 32 encrypted sensors can be taught in. Mini-USB for connecting a PC to create a device list, to configure the actuators with the help of the PCT14 PC tool, and for data backup. A QR code for downloading the PCT14 from the ELTAKO homepage www.eltako.com is included with the FAM14. Gateways FGW14, FGW14-USB, FGW14W-IP and FGW14WL-IP are connected to the Hold terminal if they connect a PC with an RS232 bus, up to 3 wireless reception modules FEM with a sub-bus RS485 or LAN/WLAN with the RS484 bus. FTS14EM, FTS14TG and FWG14MS are also connected to the Hold terminal. The lower rotary switch is required for teaching in encrypted sensors and is set to AUTO 1 during operation. Unencrypted sensors do not need to be taught into the FAM14. The upper rotary switch BA can be used to set 10 different operating modes according to the operating instructions. The upper LED indicates all radio commands detected in the reception area by briefly flashing. The lower LED lights up green when a connection to the FAM14 has been established by the PCT14 PC tool. The green LED flickers when reading or writing data. The green LED goes out when the connection to the FAM14 has been disconnected by the PCT14 PC tool. Special meter operating modes: In the meter operating modes, the focus is on the adjustable transmission speed of electricity meter data for external building energy managers. Data can be retrieved and forwarded via connected gateways (FGW14, FGW14-USB, FGW14W(L)-IP). For meters from production week 33/23, further setting options are available for this.
