State-of-the-art hybrid technology combines the advantages of wear-free electronic control with high power of special relays. The load is switched on and off with a bistable relay at the EVG output. The dimming speed can be set with the dim speed rotary switch (only when controlled with a push-button). In the event that light switches cannot be replaced by light push-buttons, the rotary switch can be set to the switch symbol at the right stop: If the closed switch is briefly opened again, it will dim until it is briefly opened again. A change in the dimming direction occurs automatically at both apexes. In addition, the direction can be changed by briefly opening the switch twice. With nursery circuit (only when controlled with a push-button): When switching on with a longer push-button actuation, after approx. 1 second, it switches on with the lowest brightness and, as long as the button is pressed, slowly dims up without changing the last stored brightness level. With snooze function (only when controlled with a push-button): A double pulse dims the lighting from the current dimming position to the minimum brightness and switches it off. The max. dimming time of 60 minutes depends on the current dimming position and the set minimum brightness and can therefore be shortened accordingly. By briefly pressing the button, it can be switched off at any time during the dimming process. A long press during the dimming process dims up and ends the snooze function.
