Surge protective devices (SPDs) type 2 with QuickSafe® thermal monitoring protect against indirect lightning effects and switching overvoltages. They are installed as close as possible to the supply point of the electrical system. All OVR T2 SPDs consist of a base part and a replaceable protection module. They are equipped with a mechanical function indicator, and the TS variants include a potential-free changeover contact. They are compatible with the System pro M compact series and can be interconnected with it using phase busbars. Primarily used in sub-distribution boards and final circuits.
