Combined lightning and surge protective device SPD Type 1+2, for protecting low-voltage consumer systems from lightning currents and overvoltages. Tested SPD Type 1 and Type 2 according to DIN EN 61643-11. The devices can be used as surge protective devices according to VDE 0100 Part 443 and Part 534, as well as within the scope of the lightning protection zone concept. The devices are compatible with the System pro M compact series. Optionally, the SPDs with "TS" are equipped with a potential-free changeover contact. The versions with "reserve varistor" (s) offer additional protection for the system in that, at the end of the surge arrester's service life, it is not completely disconnected from the mains, but a basic level of protection is still guaranteed by an additional smaller varistor, thus protecting the system until the surge arrester is replaced.
