The ETHERMA DUO PLUS S2 convector storage heater is a modern direct heating device with an innovative combination of convection, radiant heat, and integrated heat storage. This triple heating technology ensures efficient heat distribution, shortens heating times, and simultaneously optimizes energy consumption. Thanks to its compact design, the device is ideal as a space-saving transitional heater or as a modern replacement for outdated night storage heaters – especially in large rooms. Wall mounting is horizontal, and commissioning is via a 1 m long connection cable with a plug. The DUO PLUS S2 features a function switch with three operating modes: Off, operation without internal control (for external EcoDesign-compliant room thermostats), and operation with internal control. In the regular operating position, the device offers additional comfort functions such as open-window detection with automatic shutdown, as well as individually adjustable daily and weekly programs. When the control is switched off, an integrated frost protection mode is active at 7 °C. The surface consists of 12 mm thick, coated silicon stone, which radiates heat evenly.
