The wind deflector plate was specially developed for the south system and significantly reduces the required ballast due to its optimized aerodynamics. It is mounted at a 60° angle using the universal clamp. This innovative solution not only saves time but also protects the roof structure, as no self-tapping screws are used that could damage the roof membrane. Made of galvanized steel with a length of 2595 mm, a width of 2220 mm, and a height of 15 mm, the wind deflector plate is durable and stable. It allows for quick installation by the solar installer and ensures an efficient and aesthetically pleasing overall system. By reducing the ballasting, the supporting structure and the load-bearing reserve of the roof are relieved – a perfect solution for sustainable and roof-friendly PV systems.
