95 18 225 KNIPEX StepCut XL With power joint, long handles and optimised cutting edges: noticeably easier cutting than with compact cable shears. Enormous capacity: cuts single-strand copper or aluminium cables up to 35 mm², multi-strand up to 70 mm² and fine-strand up to 120 mm². Two cutting zones: The stepped main cutting edge always keeps smaller and larger cables as close to the joint as possible when cutting, the front cutting edge is used for step-by-step cutting ("nibbling") of very large cables. Comfortable one-handed and two-handed operation even with large cable diameters due to minimised handle width. Bolted power joint: high transmission, smooth running, adjustable. Slim head for better accessibility. Pinch guard for safe working. Not suitable for steel-reinforced cables, such as ACSR. Cutting edges additionally laser hardened, cutting edge hardness approx. 56 HRC.
