The SCHUKO USB socket insert Safety+ with USB-A and USB-C port is ideal for simultaneously connecting electrical consumers and charging mobile devices via USB cable. It features increased touch protection according to VDE 0620 and offers electronic short-circuit and overload protection. The USB-A port supports Apple MFi with 2.4 A and BC 1.2 DCP with 1.5 A. The USB-C port supports USB Power Delivery with 5 V/3 A, Apple MFi with 2.4 A and BC 1.2 DCP with 1.5 A. The rated current is 2.4 A when one port is used, 1.5 A when both ports are used. No data transmission is possible. The connection terminals are tested as connecting terminals according to VDE 0620-1. A deep flush-mounted box according to DIN 49073 is required for installation. For cleaning, the dust protection cap 2098 is recommended to protect the USB-A port.
