The flexibly deployable Homematic IP Wired Glass Display offers diverse possibilities for controlling the Homematic IP Smart Home via touch or Quick Action. The large, illuminated glass display allows, for example, switching or dimming lighting and raising or lowering roller shutters – and displays device statuses. For this, the display is linked with various Homematic IP radio or wired actuators. The device integrates perfectly into the living area visually and only turns on when approached. The display brightness automatically adjusts to the ambient light. The display has up to five screen pages, which are operated via arrow keys on the edge of the screen. Each of these pages can be individually divided into one, two, or four tiles and flexibly assigned functions for light or roller shutter control. This makes operating the entire house even more convenient – simply by touch or contactlessly via the Quick Action function. The installation of the smart glass display is particularly convenient via a removable push-in terminal, which also facilitates connection to the wired bus. Once the cables are attached, the terminal only needs to be plugged into the display. The Homematic IP Wired bus then ensures a reliable power supply and secure communication between the devices. The remaining installation is carried out by mounting it on a supplied mounting plate and a flush-mounted box. A Homematic IP Wired Access Point is required for operation.
