The thermostat can be easily mounted on the radiator without interfering with the heating system. Power is supplied by two AA batteries, which can provide energy for up to 2 years. After setup, the room temperature can be set directly on the heating thermostat or via the Homematic IP Wall Thermostat. Via the Homematic IP App, you can also access the Homematic IP system on the go, in addition to the WLAN connection in your home network. The app allows you to define individual temperature profiles with up to 13 changes per day in 3 adjustable heating profiles - so you can, for example, arrive in a pre-warmed bathroom in the morning, save valuable heating energy when you are away, and enjoy the evening in the living room at your desired room temperature. When the window is closed again, the radiator resumes its operation. This helps save energy, increases living comfort, and protects the environment. Thanks to its particularly quiet drive, the Homematic IP Radiator Thermostat can also be used in children's rooms or bedrooms without any problems. The built-in descaling and frost protection automatic prevents the valve from calcifying and freezing. But not only that: Measurement series from the Fraunhofer Institute have confirmed that the Homematic IP Radiator Thermostat automatically performs a dynamically adaptive adjustment to the individual radiators - comparable to hydraulic balancing.
