The DALI-2 RM8 provides a relay contact that can be controlled via the DALI bus. This allows loads without a DALI input to be easily integrated into a DALI circuit. Continuous loads up to 2kW can be switched on and off using DALI commands. By targeted switching at the voltage zero crossing, the switching contact is protected and a long service life is achieved.
