The Homematic IP Shutter Actuator for DIN rail mounting - 4-gang controls up to four blinds, roller shutters or awnings directly from the distribution cabinet - and is ideal for retrofitting thanks to wireless communication. The smart control of conventional tubular motors allows for a relaxed awakening in the morning hours or additional security for your home at dusk, for example. In addition to roller shutters and awnings, the smart actuator also controls the slat position of venetian blinds or external venetian blinds. Through individual automations, the shading elements can be controlled automatically, via time profiles or depending on sunrise and sunset. Each channel can be placed on a different phase and thus controlled independently, with a maximum power consumption of up to 500 W. In addition to the durable switching relays, the smart actuator also has eight inputs for conventional 230 V push-buttons or switches, so that these can continue to be used without problems. The shutter actuator can also be flexibly controlled via Homematic IP push-buttons and remote controls and by voice command (via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant). Thanks to stable spring-cage terminals, connection is particularly easy. Even without prior programming, the function and wiring can be checked directly on the device during installation via the illuminated display and the device buttons. Setup can be done either via the free smartphone app with a free cloud service via the Homematic IP Access Point or with the locally operated CCU3 central unit.
