The Homematic IP garage door button controls garage door operators within the Homematic IP smart home system. The robust button replaces conventional garage door buttons and integrates the garage door operator directly into the Homematic IP system. Once the garage door button is set up via the Homematic IP app, the garage door can be controlled by the button, Homematic IP remote control, or conveniently on the go via the smartphone app. This enables all typical functions such as opening and closing at the touch of a button. With individually adjustable garage door groups in the app, multiple remote controls can be used for one garage door, for example. The Homematic IP garage door button can be powered wirelessly with batteries, via a plug-in power supply, or directly via the garage door operator.
