The Homematic IP Contact Interface flush-mount - 1-way allows for uncomplicated integration of a conventional switch, push-button or contact into the Homematic IP smart home system. In combination with Homematic IP actuators, existing lamps or roller shutters, for example, can be intelligently controlled by radio via the Homematic IP system and flexibly automated in the future. Alternatively, the contact interface can also be used to activate or deactivate eco-mode in conjunction with Homematic IP room climate products. Installation is very simple, as only the supplied cables of the contact interface need to be connected and, thanks to long-lasting lithium battery power supply, no external power supply is necessary for operation. After successful installation and commissioning via the Homematic IP Access Point, the CCU3 central unit or a suitable partner solution, the respective switching state can be determined and individually controlled. Due to the shallow installation depth of around 12 mm, the flat flush-mount interface even fits into standard flush-mount boxes and can be placed directly behind the already installed switch insert.
