The SMS 2 is used together with the wind sensor SW 4 and the light sensor SL 2 for safe and convenient control of awnings or external blinds. In high sun intensity, the awning extends automatically; as the brightness decreases, it retracts again (this automatic function can also be deactivated). If the wind speed is too high, the awning automatically retracts. The SMS 2 also includes a twilight function and a blind counter-run. Buttons can be connected for direct UP/DOWN operation. By pressing and holding an operating button, the shading automatic can be deactivated for a certain period. Wind monitoring always takes precedence, thus ensuring system safety even in the event of incorrect operation. Also available as a flush-mounted version SMS U2.
