SINAMICS V20 is characterized by short commissioning times, simple operation, robustness, and cost-efficiency. The inverter can be operated directly out of the packaging without additional modules. To increase energy efficiency, the inverter is equipped with an energy-optimized control method with automatic flux reduction. It also displays current energy consumption and has other integrated energy-saving functions. The Keep-Running mode enables stable operation even under difficult and fluctuating power grid conditions. The inverter is available in nine frame sizes in a power range from 0.12 kW to 30 kW for operation on single-phase and three-phase grids (1AC 200 V to 240 V, 3AC 380 V to 480 V). The SINAMICS V20 can be individually adapted to the application requirements using various options, such as the local Basic Operator Panel (BOP) or the mobile SINAMICS V20 Smart Access Module, BOP interface, standard network cable, line filter, braking resistors, shielding, etc. It also allows for easy system configuration with predefined macros in the inverter and pre-engineered function blocks from the Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA Portal) for quick connection, e.g., to a SIMATIC S7-1200 controller. The basic inverter SINAMICS V20 is a technical and economical alternative to the Micromaster 420 frequency inverter. SINAMICS - simply my drive.
