The Homematic IP blind actuator for brand switches is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and enables the automated control of blinds, external venetian blinds, roller shutters and awnings via all common tubular motors. After commissioning with automatic calibration, individual weekly profiles can be defined, also depending on sunrise and sunset. For example, the blind will be raised on weekdays after sunrise, but not before 06:30 am. The blind actuator is particularly characterized by the precisely adjustable slat position of external venetian blinds and blinds. In addition, lockout, storm and heat protection is possible in combination with the Homematic IP app and other devices. The blind actuator for brand switches is suitable for installation in classic flush-mounted boxes and can be integrated into existing switch series from leading manufacturers using our adapters. This means that existing frames and rockers can simply continue to be used. Once installed, the connected shading device can be operated via the Homematic IP app, with the Homematic IP remote control or, in the classic way, directly via the rocker switch.
