The Homematic IP dimmer actuator for brand switches makes it easy to integrate an existing lighting system into a Homematic IP smart home system. Thanks to its compact design, the dimmer actuator fits comfortably into standard flush-mounted boxes. Existing switches can be replaced in just a few steps, provided that a neutral conductor is present in the flush-mounted box in addition to the phase. As the actuator is a trailing edge dimmer, it is particularly suitable for classic incandescent lamps, HV halogen lamps, LV halogen lamps with electronic transformers, dimmable energy-saving lamps and dimmable LED lamps. The maximum switching capacity is 80 VA. Immediately after commissioning, the light output can be conveniently dimmed in 1% increments using the free Homematic IP app. If desired, the Homematic IP dimmer actuator for brand switches can also be conveniently controlled via voice commands using the Homematic IP Skill for Amazon Alexa. Of course, classic operation via wall push-button is also retained. Due to numerous available adapter plates, the dimmer actuator can also be integrated into the most common switch designs from Busch-Jaeger, Gira, Merten, Berker, Jung, Düwi and Kopp. The standby power consumption is a low 0.4 W.
