The C.A 6117 is the UNIVERSAL DEVICE for checking electrical installations according to national and international standards (IEC 60364-6, NF C 15-100, VDE 100, FD C 16-600, etc.). It combines advanced design, ergonomics, ease of use, performance, speed, and precision in one device. Ergonomics The robust and compact C.A 6117 features a sophisticated design for quick and practical commissioning. All results are clearly displayed on the large, backlit color LCD graphic display. A rotary switch on the front of the device allows direct access to all functions. Numerous audible signals and indicators enable a rapid, standard-compliant interpretation of the results. Contextual help for each function guides the user systematically step by step or only when needed through the procedures. Up to 1000 measurements can be stored in the device's memory. The C.A 6117 is equipped with a USB port for data output. Measurements... The good performance of the C.A 6117 offers excellent measurement stability – even in disturbed industrial environments. The device has all the measurements required to check an electrical installation: continuity, resistance, insulation, earth and selective earth measurement, loop impedance, residual currents type A and AC. In addition, the C.A 6117 allows the measurement of voltage, frequency, current via clamp, active power, harmonics, and phase rotation. Even better: a fuse module has been integrated into the device, which enables measurements on type B residual current devices (RCDs). It can also measure voltage drop. The C.A 6117 was developed and manufactured in France using eco-design methods. Result analysis The measurements taken with the C.A 6117 can be processed with the universal DataView analysis software. When connected to a PC, DataView automatically recognizes the device and starts the corresponding menu. The data stored on the device and the configuration functions can be accessed directly via a tree structure. Several predefined report templates are available, which comply with standard requirements. In addition, the user can create their own templates if required. The standard installed ICT software enables a simplified and rapid analysis of the stored measurements and is equipped with the following functions: data retrieval, device parameter setting, personalized setup of measurement series with transfer of reports to the device and report editing.
