The MS165 motor starter protector with thermal and electromagnetic protection represents a compact and powerful series with high short-circuit breaking capacity for motor protection up to 45 kW (400 V) with a module width of 55 mm. The temperature-compensated device has a rotary handle operation with a clear I/TRIP/0 switch position indicator. In addition, the MS165 has a short-circuit indicator. The rotary handle can be directly locked in the 0 position with a padlock. Auxiliary, signal and short-circuit signaling contacts, as well as undervoltage and shunt trips can be mounted without tools. 3-phase busbars for 125 A allow common feeding of several motor starter protectors. Accessories for control cabinet installation complement the range. ATEX certification allows the protection of motors in hazardous areas, and UL approval as a "self-protected combination motor controller" expands the range of applications in North America.
