Universal indoor/outdoor fiber optic cables with a central loose tube serve as building entry cables for direct burial or duct installation and as flame-retardant riser cables indoors. The central arrangement of the fibers allows for a cost-effective and thin cable design. The cables are UV-resistant, metal-free, longitudinally watertight, tensile, rodent-protected, halogen-free and flame-retardant, and suitable for both indoor installation and direct burial (in an appropriate sand bed).
