The K2 Mounting Kits S-Dome 6.15 mount modules on flat roofs facing south with a 15° tilt. The steeper angle provides more yield per module and a better self-cleaning effect; however, a larger row spacing is required. The kits are based on pre-assembled Base Sets with Peak and Windbreaker. Available for 2 to 6 modules. Ballast is not included in the set.
All modules face south and are mounted at 15° on the roof. The steeper angle increases the yield per module and allows rain and snow to drain better. However, the row spacing must be wider to prevent shading between rows in winter.
What's included
Pre-assembled Base Sets with building protection mats, Peak and Windbreaker, module clamps, connecting elements, and equipotential bonding TerraGrif. Ballast (paving slabs or gravel) must be determined on-site and is not included in the set.

No. The required ballasting depends on the location, building height, and roof structure and must be provided by the customer.

15° provides more yield per module but requires greater row spacing. 10° has a flatter profile and allows more modules on the same roof area.
Which modules are the sets designed for?

Does the roof need to be statically checked?
Yes. The design is based on wind load zone 2 and floor height 3. Roof sealing and permissible load must be checked on-site.
