Stand-by loss only 0.8 watts. State-of-the-art hybrid technology combines the advantages of wear-free electronic control with the high switching capacity of special relays. The mains disconnect switch interrupts the power supply after downstream loads are switched off, thus preventing disturbing electromagnetic fields. Small loads up to a current consumption of 200mA are permissible and will not prevent the mains disconnect from activating after larger loads are switched off. The limit value does not have to be set manually but is self-learned by the FR12 using a patented procedure. Loads with a current consumption of more than 200mA are always defined as loads that should cause the mains voltage to be switched on. As long as no larger load is switched on, the monitored circuit remains disconnected from the mains on one pole. Neutral and protective conductors are not switched to prevent an antenna effect. For monitoring, an adjustable DC voltage with low ripple is present. Therefore, bridging the NO contact is not permitted and will lead to the destruction of the device. When a load is switched on, the mains disconnect switch switches on the monitored live conductor with a delay of approx. 1 second, and the LED lights up red.
