What does Fullblack mean?

With all-black modules, the frame, backsheet, and sometimes even the cell connectors are black – no visible silver busbars or gray frame. The result: a harmonious, calm roof appearance, especially on dark roof tiles. Ideal for architecturally demanding buildings.

Available models

Trina Vertex S+ Full Black 445/505 Wp, Jinko Tiger Neo HL4M-DB 460 Wp, Canadian Solar TOPHiKu6 455 Wp, Longi EcoLife X10 Premium Black 475 Wp, JINKO SGS Tiger Neo Fullblack 440/445 Wp.

Performance vs. Aesthetics

All-black modules often have slightly lower performance than the standard version (due to the black backsheet) – but significantly better aesthetics. For typical home systems, the difference is negligible.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between full-black and standard modules?

Full-black: consistently black frame + black backsheet. Standard modules usually have a silver frame and a white or transparent backsheet. Visually, there's a significant difference on the roof.

Do all-black modules have less power?

A small difference of 1–3% compared to the standard version – hardly noticeable in practice. For a typical 8 kWp system, this means approx. 80–240 kWh less per year.

Which brands offer all-black?

Trina (Vertex S+ Full Black), Jinko (Tiger Neo Fullblack), Canadian Solar (TOPHiKu6 Full Black), Longi (EcoLife X10 Premium Black) and JINKO SGS.

Which roofs are suitable for all-black modules?

Especially good on dark roof tiles, slate, anthracite roofing and flat roofs. On light roofs, they act as a calm contrast.

Glass-Glass or Glass-Foil in Fullblack?

Both variants are available. Glass-Glass: longer lifespan, more robust. Glass-Foil: lighter, often cheaper. We help with the choice.
