Advantages at a glance
Transparent & bifacial
Partially transparent glass-glass design lets light pass through – ideal for carports, patio roofs, facades, and agri-PV. Dual-sided power generation provides up to 20% more yield.
Compact & lightweight
Only 15.3 kg and 1542 × 766 mm – around 40% lighter and 40% smaller than standard modules. Perfect for complex roof geometries and back-friendly installation.
N-type TOPCon Cells
Modern Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact technology: higher efficiency, better low-light performance, and lower degradation than classic PERC cells.
Glass-Glass Double Glazing
2.0 mm semi-tempered glass on front and back – resistant to hail, UV, moisture, and micro-cracks. Fire protection class A.
Alpine Load Capacity
Snow load 5400 Pa, wind load 2400 Pa – ideally suited for alpine regions, storm-prone areas, and snowy winters in Austria.
PFAS-free & sustainable
No dangerous per- and polyfluoroalkyl chemicals. CO₂-neutral production (TÜV SÜD) with 100% renewable energy.

Frequently Asked Questions about the DMEGC Infinity 260 Wp
What is the DMEGC 260 Wp Transparent Module particularly suitable for?
Thanks to its transparent glass-glass rear, the module is specially designed for applications where light transmission is desired: patio roofs, carports, conservatories, pergolas, agri-PV systems, and facades. At the same time, it uses dual-sided power generation (bifacial) for up to 20% additional yield. Its compact dimensions also make it ideal for small or complex roof areas.
What does bifacial mean and how much additional yield does it provide?
Bifacial modules generate electricity on both the front AND back. The additional yield depends on the surface below: reflective surfaces like snow, white gravel, or light-colored roofing material can provide up to 20% additional yield, while typical grassy areas yield about 5–10%. It is particularly effective with elevated mounting at least 80 cm above the ground.
Why a smaller 260 Wp module instead of a large 500+ Wp module?
Small modules have clear advantages: they fit on complex or small roof areas, are back-friendly to install (only 15.3 kg instead of 25 kg), can be carried by one person, and are ideal for carport, patio, and architectural applications. The module efficiency of 22% is identical to large premium modules – so you don't lose any efficiency per area.
What is N-type TOPCon technology?
TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) is currently the most advanced cell technology for silicon solar cells. It uses a wafer-thin tunnel oxide layer to minimize electron losses. Advantages over older PERC technology include: higher efficiency, better low-light performance (important in autumn/winter), lower temperature dependence, and significantly less degradation over its lifespan.
Is the module suitable for carports and patio roofs?
Yes, very much so. The transparent back allows daylight to pass through – keeping the area underneath bright and not dark like with all-black modules. At the same time, it offers protection from sun and rain and generates electricity. The glass-glass construction is significantly more durable than glass-film modules, making it ideal for cantilevered structures lasting over 25+ years.
Is the module suitable for snowy regions in Austria?
Yes, with a snow load of 5400 Pa (equivalent to approx. 550 kg/m²) and a wind load of 2400 Pa, the module is perfectly designed for alpine locations. The operating temperature range of −40 to +85 °C covers all climatic conditions in Austria – from high mountains to the Pannonian summer.
Which inverters are compatible with the DMEGC 260 Wp?
The module is compatible with all inverters available from SOLARVIC: Fronius Symo and GEN24, Huawei SUN2000, GoodWe DNS and ET, SMA Sunny Boy and Tripower, SolaX X1/X3-Hybrid and X3-Aelio, Sungrow SH and SG, as well as Solinteg hybrid inverters. The system voltage of 1500 V DC and the low short-circuit current (13.95 A) allow flexible string designs.
What does PFAS-free mean and why is it important?
PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl chemicals) are so-called "forever chemicals" – they do not break down in the environment and are subject to an EU-wide restriction process. Many conventional solar modules contain PFAS in backsheets and seals. DMEGC completely refrains from using them – an important factor for public tenders, ESG-compliant projects, and customers who value true sustainability.
Which mounting systems are compatible?
Thanks to its compact dimensions (1542 × 766 × 30 mm) and low weight, the module is compatible with all mounting systems available from SOLARVIC: K2 Systems, Schletter, SL Rack, Novotegra, iFIX Voest, Prefa. For carports and patio roofs, special profiles with all-round clamping are recommended – we will be happy to advise you individually.
