MWE water softening module for make-up water for filtering and softening make-up water according to ÖNORM H5195-1 to protect against scaling in heat generators and hot water heating systems. For use exclusively in combination with the elko-mat MKN additional module for controlled replenishment in EAC, ST-M, STZ-M or SYSTEMWART series units. The remaining capacity of the cartridge is monitored by the unit control system depending on the raw water hardness and replenishment quantity. Permanently installed combination of softening valve, complete with a replaceable cartridge of high-quality ion exchange resin, and a fine filter, consisting of a filter housing and replaceable filter insert (25 micrometers).
