Panasonic Hydrosplit heat pump Aquarea T-CAP, three-phase, inverter-controlled, R290

Compact Combi Hydro Module
Compact Combi Hydro Module for air/water heat pumps in hydrosplit design, suitable for use with R290 refrigerant and a three-phase 400 V / 50 Hz mains connection, as well as a domestic hot water tank with 185 L storage volume.

Indoor Unit
Particularly compact casing made of galvanized and stove-enamelled sheet steel in white (RAL9010), with a small footprint of 500 x 348 mm and a height of 9822 mm. The unit is wall-mounted. The control box consists of sheet steel with its own hinged door for electrical connections located inside the casing on the front. The control unit is accessible without opening the casing. All sensor readings can be accessed via the control unit. There are two CN-CNT connections for increased connectivity. The Cloud Adapter is pre-installed in the indoor unit, and Modbus can be connected if required. Energy and heat meters can be connected via an external meter gateway (PAW-EXTMETER).

Hydraulic Circuit
The plate heat exchanger is made of stainless steel. The circulation pump, a Panasonic high-efficiency pump, is driven by a DC motor and continuously controlled. Flow monitoring is included. A vortex flow meter for dynamic adjustment of the water flow rate depending on the specified temperature difference is present, as well as an integrated dirt water magnetic filter for the water circuit, an integrated electric heating element with 9 kW and a thermal overcurrent release. Built-in safety and vent valve, and water pressure sensor for measuring system pressure. A 10-liter expansion tank is built-in. Flow temperatures up to 75 °C are possible and are achieved at outdoor temperatures down to -15 °C. The operating range in heating mode extends to -28°C. A water outlet temperature of 55°C is achieved at an outdoor temperature of up to -25°C. In cooling mode, the operating range is between 10°C and 43°C outdoor temperature. With T-CAP technology, the nominal heating capacity remains constant at an outdoor temperature of up to -20°C. System safety is enhanced by the hydraulic connection to the indoor unit and the separation of refrigerant in the outdoor unit and electronics in the indoor unit.

Control
Modulating capacity adjustment of the compressor through inverter control technology. High energy efficiency through operation start in partial load range and demand-driven frequency increase. Equipped with temperature sensors for outdoor temperature, compressor, hot gas and suction line temperature, and evaporator temperature. A circuit reversal process ensures rapid and efficient defrosting of the outdoor unit's heat exchanger. Communication modules for optimal data exchange with the hydromodule. Separate heating and domestic hot water control with a clear control panel and easy-to-understand symbols as well as plain text menu displays in 26 different user languages. Continuous display of outdoor and flow temperature and outdoor temperature-guided adjustment of the flow temperature in heating mode are available. Temperature sensors for condenser, flow, and return temperature. Display of system pressure, weekly timer for time-dependent on/off switching and operating mode selection. A programmable timer is available for thermal disinfection. The electric auxiliary heating is controlled as needed.

Self-diagnosis system with display of error codes. Communication modules for optimal data exchange with the outdoor unit. Optional board for additional functions such as Smart-Grid control, power control via 0-10 V signal, control of two heating circuits including heating circuit pumps and mixing valves, solar thermal, external switching between heating and cooling. Smart Cloud Adapter. Setting for prioritizing silent operation possible, so that a certain volume is not exceeded.
