Compact Combi Hydro Module
Compact combi hydro module for air-to-water heat pump in hydrosplit design suitable for use with refrigerant R290 and a three-phase 400 V / 50 Hz mains connection, as well as a domestic hot water tank with 185 L storage volume.

Outdoor Unit
Outdoor unit for air-to-water heat pump in hydrosplit design with refrigerant R290 and a three-phase 400 V / 50 Hz mains connection. The casing is made of galvanized and stove-enamelled steel sheet in anthracite grey (RAL 7016), suitable for outdoor installation and has a removable casing lid for easy access to internal components. The base plate has mounting tabs and condensate openings. The axial fan has an enlarged fan diameter for constant airflow to reduce fan speed and is driven by a continuously variable DC motor and a sound and flow-optimized plastic impeller. The switch box is mounted high up for safe water drainage. A gas/liquid separator is present in the outdoor unit. Pressure resistance and leak tightness are factory-tested and provided with an environmentally friendly basic refrigerant charge. The design regulations according to IEC 60335-2-40: 2022 are met. The heat exchanger consists of copper pipes with pressed-on Bluefin-coated aluminum fins. A 4-pole synchronous motor compressor and a 4-point vibration damper device, as well as soundproof compressor material, reduce vibrations and noise. Electronic expansion valve, 4-way circuit reversing valve, filter dryer, and shut-off valves with test connection are included. Line lengths up to 30 m and height differences up to 30 m between indoor and outdoor units are permissible.
Hydraulic Circuit
The plate heat exchanger is made of stainless steel. The circulation pump, a Panasonic high-efficiency pump, is continuously controlled by a DC motor. Flow monitoring is present. A vortex flow meter for dynamic adjustment of the water flow rate depending on the specified temperature spread is present, as well as an integrated dirty water magnetic filter for the water circuit, an integrated electric heating element with 9 kW and a thermal overcurrent release. Built-in safety and vent valve, and water pressure sensor for measuring system pressure. A 10-liter expansion vessel is built-in. Flow temperatures up to 75 °C are possible and are achieved at outdoor temperatures down to -15 °C. The operating range in heating mode goes down to -28°C. A water outlet temperature of 55°C is reached at an outdoor temperature of up to -25°C. In cooling mode, the operating range is between 10°C and 43°C outdoor temperature. With T-CAP technology, the nominal heating capacity remains constant at an outdoor temperature of up to -20°C. System safety is increased by the hydraulic connection to the indoor unit and the separation of refrigerant in the outdoor unit and electronics in the indoor unit.
Control
Modulating power adaptation of the compressor through inverter control technology. High energy efficiency through operation start in the partial load range and demand-controlled frequency increase. Equipped with temperature sensors for outdoor temperature, compressor, hot gas and suction line temperature, and evaporator temperature. A circuit reversal process ensures rapid and efficient defrosting of the outdoor unit heat exchanger. Communication modules for optimal data exchange with the hydro module. Separate heating and/or domestic hot water control with a clear control panel and easy-to-understand symbols, as well as plain text menu displays in 26 different user languages. Continuous display of outdoor and flow temperature and outdoor temperature-dependent adjustment of the flow temperature in heating mode are present. Temperature sensors for condenser, flow, and return temperature. Display of system pressure, weekly timer for time-dependent on/off switching and operating mode preselection. A programmable timer for thermal disinfection is available. The control of the electric auxiliary heating is demand-driven.
