COMFORT 15-14 BX TA The COMFORT TA is an efficient circulator pump designed for hot water circulation in residential buildings with a dedicated return line. It is compatible with all types of hot water tanks, instantaneous water heaters, solar or heat pump systems, regardless of whether the system has mixing or control valves installed. The pump features a compact casing and a permanent magnet motor with an integrated control unit. The spherical rotor, equipped with an impeller, ensures optimal functionality, supported by a robust single-bearing system. The potable water-approved brass pump housing guarantees both safety and reliability. The COMFORT TA also incorporates a built-in temperature sensor for maintaining water temperature. The user-friendly interface features LEDs and push buttons on the control panel. This provides an intuitive way to display and set operating times and control modes, ensuring a comfortable and energy-efficient experience in the residential setting. The COMFORT TA offers three control modes: AUTOADAPT, Temperature, and Continuous 24/7. With the AUTOADAPT control mode, the pump quickly learns the usage patterns throughout the day, ensuring hot water is available only when needed, via an external sensor on the supply pipe. The pump can therefore distinguish between morning, evening, weekdays, weekends, and inactive periods such as holidays, saving energy and water by operating the pump only when required. After 24 hours without hot water usage, the pump automatically switches to holiday mode and resumes operation when there is a demand for hot water. In the first two weeks after installation, the pump frequently starts based on temperature control to ensure immediate comfort until the usage pattern is learned. The pump provides immediate comfort regardless of usage pattern if it detects hot water demand. Once a week, the pump performs a 15-minute disinfection cycle (anti-legionella). The hot water heater must enable this feature once a week. The Temperature control mode integrates both the external and internal sensors for more accurate water temperature measurement and activates the pump when the water temperature falls below a specific level. The ON/OFF temperatures are automatically adjusted based on the maximum temperature measured in the system. The maximum temperature of the system is continuously measured, allowing for dynamic adjustment of the ON/OFF temperatures. This mode also includes an automatic holiday mode for improved energy efficiency, making it ideal for vacation homes. Continuous 24/7 control mode The pump operates continuously 24 hours a day. The product offers: {_BL_}Q-H performance designed for single and multi-family homes, depending on the required operating point to adapt to heat loss in a specific pipe layout. {_BL_}Heat loss reduction by 67% compared to a continuously running pump. {_BL_}Low energy consumption and quiet operation. {_BL_}Compliance with pipe manufacturer flow velocity limits, including DN 15, DN 20 PEX, copper, and others. {_BL_}Potable water approval, ensured by the brass pump housing, stainless steel rotor, and composite impeller. {_BL_}A design that makes it easy to clean limescale and foreign deposits by removing the pump head, making the product suitable for unlimited water hardness requirements. {_BL_}Dry-running protection to prevent failures if the system runs out of water. {_BL_}Multiple installation positions, including with the pump head pointing downwards. {_BL_}A pump head that fits brass pump housings of old and new pumps of the same design, even from different pump manufacturers (such as WILO, VORTEX, LOWARA, DAB, and others). {_BL_}Easy electrical installation, provided by a pre-mounted mains plug with a 1.5 m cable and a double-insulated protective design that eliminates the need for an earth wire. {_BL_}Insulation shells to reduce heat loss. {_BL_}Check and shut-off valves included in the "BX" variant, reducing installation costs. {_BL_}An optional drain flange, providing an easy way to vent or drain the system without the need for an additional permanently installed drain valve. {_BL_}Optional connections for pipe fittings in various sizes and types. {_BL_}Optional check and shut-off valves are available.
